Western Australian rutilated teminated quartz

Hey everyone,
After alot of research and digging and a whole lot of time searching ive finally found something worth digging here in Western Australia close to Perth.
I have been finding lots of terminated points and they all are super clear with great inclusions.
This one below i found while digging and it looked foggy but i thought it was unusual to find a foggy one in an are where there are all are clear so i kept it. Once i got hom i took a close look to find something amaising!!! It wasnt foggy it was jammed packed with golden coloured rutiles!!
This is a keeper and im so happy i didnt chuck it

Lol Dugite, with finds like that I don't think TM will be advertising the location
Thats a great little find and I haven't seen one as nice in all the grass stone digging I've done. I look forward to seeing a few more finds from that spot.

Taior Marc, that is a lovely find. I had been selling rutilated quartz from Madagascar and some large pieces with the needles so densely packed. Fascinating stuff and the way the fibres grow so straight and still within the natural formation of a crystal shape.

I hope you find some big ones.
