Inverell Gem and Craft Show

Inverell and District Lapidary Club Inc. presents the 2017 Gem and Craft Show.


Friday 13th October to 20th October 2017 at Inverell Pioneer Village (Tingha Road) and Lapidary Club Clubhouse (McIlveen Street).


Fossicking excursions, Demonstrations, Traders, Tailgating, Mystery Tour.


Visit Inverell's historic mineral fields. Fossick for crystals, honey citrine, jelly beans, silver, molybdonite, rhodonite, diamonds, fossils, marble, serpentine and much more.


Entry - gold coin donation.

2017 Program
  • Thursday 12th - Arrival and Set Up
  • Friday 13th - Gem and Craft Show at Inverell's Pioneer Village. Traders, displays and demonstrations. Catering available.
  • Saturday 14th - Gem and Craft Show at Inverell's Pioneer Village     +  First field trip: King Conrad and Candle Crystal Tour, 4WD only
  • Sunday 15th - Gem and Craft Show at Inverell's Pioneer Village     +  Second field trip: Mount Topper Tour
  • Monday 16th - Open House, Inverell Lapidary Club. Trader displays welcome (free of charge for Gem and Craft Show attendees).      +    Third field trip: Lone Star Tour
  • Tuesday 17th - Open House, Inverell Lapidary Club. Trader displays welcome (free of charge for Gem and Craft Show attendees).              +  Fourth field trip: Marble, Fossil and Serpentine Tour, with a twist.
  • Wednesday 18th - Open House, Inverell Lapidary Club. Trader displays welcome (free of charge for Gem and Craft Show attendees).       + Fifth field trip: Petrified Wood and Jasper Tour, to include a stop for quartzite.
  • Thursday 19th - Open House, Inverell Lapidary Club. Trader displays welcome free of charge for Gem and Craft Show attendees).               +  Sixth field trip: Mystery Tour
  • Friday 20th - Open House, Inverell Lapidary Club. Trader displays welcome (free of charge for Gem and Craft Show attendees).            +  Final field trip: Fossils Galore.

Due to wet weather conditions caused by Wednesday night/Thursday morning storms the location of the Event has changed. The Gem Show is no longer being held at the Inverell Pioneer Village, Tingha Road, Inverell, NSW.

Instead you will find us trading outside the Inverell Gem Club Rooms at McIlveen Street, Inverell, NSW.
