Can anyone ID these laps

Hi all,
I'm new to lapidary and got an old faceting machine from my boss's father. It came with 6x 6inch laps but i am unable to ID them. The copper ones have an 8 and a 90 engraved in them but the others have no markings. I've attached a photo of the front and backs of them. Hoping someone can help me!

When buying used equipment it is usual to assign a very low value to associated laps due to the difficulty of identifying and the possibility that otherwise good fine laps have been contaminated with course grit.
Suggestions: Dop up a bit of cheap material (Quartz) and rank the laps in order of how fast they remove material, ie course grit to fine grit.   (Clean hands and stone between each lap test.)
Do the ones that remove material the slowest (fine laps) tend to leave a few scratches in an otherwise clean surface?   If so, not good.
It the laps are solid material, ie: not a thin topper glued onto a thick master, then you may be able to get someone with a lathe to reface them at a much lower cost than buying new.   Refaced laps can then be used for whatever grit you wish.   The numbers may have meant something to the previous owner but mean nothing to me.
Hope this is some help.   Others may have more ideas.

I wouldn't even bother attempting to find what they are, the silver ones are possibly tin or typemetal laps and can probably be refaced on a lathe so you can start again. The copper look to be solid laps so they can probably be refaced and recharged with diamond.
To me they all look like they are the solid metal laps so are good to be refaced.  Toppers are a thin slab of copper or some other metal fixed to an Aluminium platter and the copper is often too thin to have any taken off.

Thanks very much for the replies guys! I think I might just put them aside and purchase a beginners lap kit off Aussie Sapphire seems like less mucking around haha

I think Andrew (the Aussie saphire owner ) does lap resurfacing, for the cost of postage it might be worth an enquiry.

Of coarse you would pay for the job done on them as well, but you would know for sure which is useable and which isn't.

All except the one on the right need to be re-machined, but you probably have a Tin or Pewter, maybe a Typemetal or a master, a copper and possibly a bronze. The one on the right looks to be possibly a sintered diamond lap.

The other 4 would be well worth refacing provided there is plenty of thickness (10mm) as these will make good pre and final polishing laps. Re-machining will also help identify what they are.

If I come across laps like these I'll often buy them if I can get them cheap as they broaden out the scope for different diamond grits for different stones as different stones often polish better with different lap materials.
