Number of wheels in a car

I've just acquired a Lortone 33b to polish up the rocks my daughter keeps bringing home whenever we go out.  Right now it seemed like a good thing to teach her while she is stuck at home most of the time. 
We live in Perth and enjoy getting out and discovering new places.  I've forgotten everything I ever learned about rocks, so I'm planning to buy a couple of books. The Smithsonian guide on rocks and minerals is one I'm looking at, any other suggestions are welcome.

Also, the answer is one (the steering wheel), or two if you include the spare wheel.

There are so many books you could buy, or maybe you could access some digitally via libraries.
A favourite of mine & well worth having @ home is Australian and New Zealand Gemstones, how and where to find them, ed. Bill Myatt.

When you can move about again go for a drive to visit Aradon at Malaga - lots of polished rocks to see and you can also buy your supplies of grit there as well as well as asking for any advise. 

By the way there are a lot more than 2 wheels in a car -  flywheel and gearwheel (gearbox is full of them)

Have a copy and can absolutely recommend it.
There are several Lapidary Clubs in your State including Perth and Rockingham, although like SA they may be temporarily suspending operations.

I have "Gemstones of Western Australia - Mineral Resources Bulletin 25."
If you want to fossick in WA, then this is the book you need to have.
I wish that I had had a copy when I lived there.   Many of the sites I visited are mentioned in the book.

Ghost, when I left school, I trained as an Assayor with a Geo Exploration team, travelling around the country for Aberfoyle resources, back then I had no interest in collecting rocks, but took a lot of samples around Australia in our research.  Know I wish I had taken a couple of samples and put in those white sample bags I use to pile up in the Laboratory, still know the locations but in the past 40 years, most of them have been turned into National Parks.
