Any experienced tumblers around Central Coast NSW
« on: September 27, 2022, 04:14:12 PM »
I have rekindled an interest in rocks from many many years ago and have started tumbling random rocks that I have been collecting. Currently using a Lortone 3a for the abrasive steps and have just picked up a Raytech TV5 to try for the polishing. Hoping the vibe tumbling will cut down on time and amount of polish. Some steps I seem to be getting right, some dont have the best results though.

Getting a wealth of info here on what I am not getting right so far but would appreciate catching up with someone experienced from the NSW Central Coast area that can point some things out face to face. Will contact that local lapidary club but thought there may also be someone on these forums that could help out.

Thanks

As I in does tries!

Greetings and Welcome from Bonnybridge, Scotland.

Currently there are several threads concerning the Raytech TV5 on Rock Tumbling Hobby Forums and you may get  more help there.
