Warby Ranges, Wangaratta

Several years ago I had read that the Warby Ovens National Park in Victoria has a designated fossicking spot for gemstones. So I thought I'd return and check for the fossicking details of what is found there. Unfortunately the parks web site was a bit thin on specific information. I also tried Googling; which was also disappointing. The only remotely interesting and useful data was on the Mindat site. Which specified such finds as Wavellite, Flourite, Quartz and Chalcopyrite.   I'm just curious that not much is written or spoken about this location or why this place isn't included in the annual VGCA fossicking calendar.  So if any one here on the forum has been there and would like to share, it would be great read about your visit and finds.
