At least the work on my daughter's house is keeping me fit, so I can fit into my fossicking clothes next year   ;D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.

There is much to love about forums, ease of photo posting is not one and why FB and insta were able to fill a gap. Agree history is easier to find in this forum. Thanks to all admins and contributors

Fair point. Different gap IMO, and unfortunately the filler has expanded out of the gap, oozed everywhere and made one helluva mess...  FB and Instagram are not really about imparting knowledge, or encouraging in-depth discourse.
Imagine if ALF posters put up zillions of pictures of gems they had fossicked, interesting cuts, and faceting machine improvements etc. without any supporting info, and we all just clicked on little red hearts and little yellow flames next to the pictures, lol.
