Some possible ideas with no guarantees:-
Club members.
Members stalls at club Gem Fairs.
Stalls at Gemboree - Wilunga SA this year.

As Ghost mentioned, all are good places to start. You could also try contact the clubs themselves, not all have badges anymore, some will only supply to members and you would have to front up postage as well, but you won't know without contacting them. This is a good place to start hunting them down: https://aflaca.org.au/
hope this helps.

Thanks again for the advice, I'll get on it
I just want to try and do like a picture frame of badges
SA is a bit far for the Gemboree  could be a roandtrip  ;D although I think the 2025 is up here at Nambour
Thanks again guys

Just another question which 'm not sure to put it here or start a new thread.
Polishing Wheels, what would be the better backing for all round rock polishing, different hardness of stone, Leather, Felt or just Carpet ?
Also the compound Cerium Oxide or Aluminium Oxide
Thanks again for the advice

For polishing i nearly always use hard felt, I have dozens of combinations of things to try if I am struggling to get a polish but hard felt with Tin oxide is the default.

I'm with Rusted, hard felt with your choice of oxide. Our club uses aluminium oxide (tin oxide if we can afford it) and we also have a leather wheel with cerium oxide (my favourite) but this isn't a good all rounder.

Back to Danny's original post re club badges there will be a special 60th anniversary badge released at the 2024 GEMBOREE being held in Willunga S.A. .
There are only a limited number of these badges struck and will be sure to sell out quickly. GEMBOREE badges have not been released in S.A. for a long time. This release is likely to be one-off for the special anniversary.

Thanks dughug  :)

Would these be able to be purchased online or would you need to be at the show

Or at a long shot if anyone's attending the show would they be able to pick one up for me

Thanks again
