It's always worth while going to Moralla it's just a matter of how much you can tolerate! The weather in Melb for the next week is going to be in the mid to high 30's so Beear fossickng area is probably going to be even hotter, there's no water there so you'll need to take plenty with you, plenty of sun screen and a hat, and at this time of year digging is a hard slog as the ground is baked solid, but with all this said it's up to you! I was there at the begining of February and I found the heat to much, you'd fossick for a couple of hours in the morning and the rest of the day you would just sit around drinking and trying to stay cool.
