Gemaster GF4
« on: October 28, 2024, 11:06:41 AM »
I have done cabbing for a few years but a beginner in faceting, I have opportunity to purchase a Gemaster GF4. I have found details of GF3 online but unable to find anything on a GF4. Can someone explain the differences between GF3 and GF4 please.

Makky has a GF4, I used to have a GF3. You really don't need a manual for it and any specific questions can be answered by someone here.

Welcome Kerry,
There are two version of the GF-4, mine is the older one with a grey base. The newer one is usually white and has a sleeved mast.
This article is worth a read. https://aussielapidaryforum.com/forum/index.php?action=downloads;sa=downfile&id=7
They are very similar to the GF-3, the newer the machine the better the motor, they learnt from their mistakes. Mine had piles of induction noise, but keeps on going, and going, it will probably blow up after typing that. :)
I have a GF-3 manual that came with my early GF-4 machine as they are so similar.

CheersMB
